The Transylvania Mania (not really just Washington State really)

Ok so i went with a butt load of people last night to see TWILIGHT! It was awesome and a great ending to a pretty great day and the start of a great weekend.

I know i haven't posted in quite a while. Life is really great. Been spending alot of time with my friends and busy doing tech work on shows here at college, yahoo!

I was very privileged to get to see my friends in their production of Mulan Jr. a few weeks ago. It was a great show and i had a great time with them at Season Tickets after the show. Sometimes i go home and feel like i never really left. But at the same time i am having a great time with my friends, i am missing my friends back at school. Sorry guys if you are my hometown friends who are reading this but it happens when you make new friends that are far away when you go home.

Robin and i have been haveing a lot of fun nights together from watching Desperate Housewives to eating 2 boxes of Mac and chesse out of a pot while watching her high school production of Grease...lol. Good Times. Then there is my dear Ma'ayan, who watches a movie with me almost everyday (not lately though she is too busy for me anymore...tear tear)

College is one of the best experiences of my life and CSU is now my home away from home and I love Columbus. I love it here.

This semester is almost over and it has just flown by. It has been a semester i will never forget.

What I've Been Looking For

I sit at the window,
Watching the passers-by
In a subconscious fashion,
Expecting someone to stop and say Hello.

Just a nod of notice
Or a glance
From someone, anyone.
It's just a hit or miss.

Tons walk by
One after another
Minute by minute,
A girl, then guy.

Someone takes my gaze away
From in front of me
Past the people there to
Across the street and there they stay.

Eyes meet and time slows
A hand raisesand moves to and fro
I smile, they smile, we smile.
A relationship grows.

I return the favor,
I raise my hand.
It sways back and forth.
A friendship I will savor.

Our hands stop,
Simles still intact.
Our eyes locked,
But hands drop.

They start to move,
Eyes still joined,
And soon the throng
Begins to move.

Time starts again,
Our chance meeting ceased,
But friendships last.
A moment for gain.

Now, a time to save,
A day fulfilled
Sitting at the window
Waiting for the Wave.

A Lot of livin' to Do

Well people i know it has been a while. I am now a busy college student who had honestly forgotten about his blog until earlier today.

Well my life is now pretty much going, going, gone 24/7. Every day brings on a new and exciting adventure. Whether i am in class, chilling in Jamie's room, going to RA events, or just doing random stuff with Robin, Janine, Cory, Megan, Doug, and Laura. (speaking of which i am doing the latter currently, in fact i am typing this on Janine's computer.)

Well for those who are worried if i am enjoying myself....I am lovin life, and having a blast. There is so much to do you just have to find it!

Life is good, my friends are the bomb, and i couldn't be happier!

So that is a quick update of the life of me!

Everything Old Is New Again

I started classes yesterday and i had script analysis and US Hist. I loved both of the teachers (I think for once in four years i am going to enjoy History and Amrican for that matter). BEcky BEcker my Script analysis Professor is so sweet and nice, loved her!. Mr. Cope my History teacher is hilarious....such a change from my monotoned history teacher from high school.....

Then today I had Pre-Calc. I think i will do very well in the class since everything on the professors sylabus I covered last year in high school. The only thing tat worries me is that the teacher sounds Romanian and has a strong accent, luckily i understood everything he said today....but who knows what is to come.

Monday is my crazy day I have like four classes. all over the place. mostly Theatre classes but I have Pre calc as well....and a dreaded night course.

But i think this semester is gonna run smoothly!

La Vie Boheme

Ok so yesterday I move in to my dorm at CSU....what an ordeal that was. I was already nervous once I got there, but then I developed a stress headache from my parents but once they left for the hotel I came to life again.

OMG I have met the craziest coolest people this weekend. Cory, my CSU big Brother, is so hilarious and awesoem that I just can't handle it (i can tell he and I are going to get along just fine). Megan is so much fun and last night she said she was keyed down so I can't wait for her to break loose! :) Then I met Robin who is so whacky and cool and fun. Then Kayla is awesome.....the list just goes on Dureyea, Michael, Jordan, Janine, India, Carolyn, Jamie, Lindsay, Emma, cassie, molly..........oh I could go on forever! Oh and of course there is Barrett even more amazing in person.

So yeah like a bunch of theatre and music kids went to IHOP last night. 18 of us to be exact. And we just had a jolly old time there. so yeah I think i AM GOING TO SURVIVE THIS YEAR!!!!!

Ok my roomies (as of now) are the bomb. We are all very different but yet we are all alike sorta. Michael is a clarinet major, Jordan is oboe, and Brad is Criminal Justice. It is going to be a fun year already i can tell.......so yeah I am so ready for my new life to begin. It is going to be awesome!!!!!!!

Go Cougars!

So Long Farewell

Summer has quickly faded in to the past, and now I look ahead to the future. New School, new friends, newlife experiences.....But i will miss all of the good times I have had with the people I have known all these years. I have so many inside jokes that I don't know what i am going to do without them.....probably make new ones with my new comrades....The memories i have with these people are never going to fade. I shall think of my firends all the time and remember the fun things we did, the trouble we got into, the randomness we always were a part of..... And that is just my high school friends. Class of '08 at ACS i am going to miss seeing each of you everyday, ya'll made life fun and exciting, i hope that everyone excelles at whatever they plan on doing in their futures

The next group is very dear to my heart, though many years younger than me, we have grown up together. and they are my beloved youth group groupies. LAyna, Hannah and Danielle, my three stoogettes, I am going to miss your craziness every sunday and Wednesday. You always found a way to brighten my day. I am so going to miss you all. I love ya'll so much. Then there is Sam and Mitch. Mitch you are great fun to be around. Your goofyness is catching. When you are crazy we all are crazy. Sam I have only really gotten to know you this summer but you are a great kid. I am going to really miss those Wednesday nights on the bleachers or the swings, and especially our table in the fellowship hall. Layna feeding me, hannah being sarcastic, Danielle being hyper, mitch being mitch, and sam........ahhh goodtimes. If any of you ever read this....psst! Tag Your IT!!!!!!!! Bahahahahaha!

And my final group of friends that have actually turned into my extended family. My theatre buds. From FCFT, to STG, To ACS. I am going to miss so many people that i have worked with over this past year and a half. But many more who i have know for what seems like forever My beloved Emily.....You and I will always have one thing in common and to think it is what actually brought our friendship together(WICKED.) I have to do this now....or i will never get it done..... but it is for all of my theatre friends and not just Em.

I've heard it said
That people come into our lives
For A Reason
Bringing something we must learn

And we are lead to those
who help us most to grow
If we let them
And help them in Return

Well I don't know If I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
because I knew you

Like a Comet pulled from orbit
as it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
halfway through the wood

Who Can say
if i've been changed for the better
but Because I knew you
I have been changed for good

It well may be
That We may never meet again
In this lifetime
So let me say before we part

So much of me
Is made of what I learned form you
You'll be with me
like a handprint on my heart

And now whatever way our stories end
I know you have rewritten mine
by being my friend

Like a ship blown from it's mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a sky bird
in a distant wood

Who can say
if I've been changed for the better
But because I knew you
Because I knew you
I have been Changed for good

And just to clear the air
I ask forgiveness
for the things I've done
you blame me for
but then I guess
we know there's blame to share
and none of it seems
to matter any more

Like a comet puled from orbit
Like a ship blown from it's morring
As it passes a sun
by a wind off the sea
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Like a seed dropped by a bird
Halfway through the wood
in the wood
Who can say if i've been changed for the better
I do believe i have been changed for the better

And Because I knew you
Because I knew you
because I knew you
I have been Changed
For Good

Movin' Out

Ok so I am pretty much packed for CSU, and am so ready to go. I am so pumped to meet all the people I have met on FB. They are awesome! I can already tell that this year is going to be fun, crazy, interesting, and amazing, just from the people i have met!

I have now officailly been introduced to all my roomies, only one i haven't met face to face. I think they are going to be great! I can't wait!

My life is about to change so much but I think i am completely ready for the change to life on my own. Mom and Dad are skeptical about it but I am not I think a change is exactly what I need to get out of my life of disaster right now.

I am so excited and just wanna say that CSU is about to be windswept by a force known as Andrew Miller he is going to take the campus by storm......but in a good way! I am so ready! CSU here I come!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Today was a blast i got to hang out with one of my besties, Danielle. We went down to West GA to get her books and parking pass. and goofed off pretty much all day. She, me and her Boyfriend, Kevin, all wnet.

First she picked me up and we went to get gas at Flash Foods in Palmetto then we got there and she realized she had left her purse at Kevin's house so we had to go and pick it up then we went back to get gas and head to Carrollton.

After we went to Carrollton we headed back to Newnan and had lunch at Taco Bell, yum! Then since her boyfriend was driving her crazy I moved from the backseat to the front, and Danielle and i had a jolly good time with our little inside jokes that Kevin was cluless about.

After Taco Bell we went to Pet Smart to look at the animals. We actually did it just to waste time. But It was fun.

And tomorrow will be fun too. Danielle is coming over for a Rocky Horror Picture Show movie day! Yay! Let's do The Time Warp again!!!!!!!

Under Pressure/I Want To Break Free

I hate automobiles. My '96 Neon is out to make my life a misery. All summer it has been in and out of the shop for this and that. Today was just the tip of the iceberg. I had a blow out on the way home from running errands.

In the process of trying to get to the spare I managed to drop a barbell on my foot. Now there is a lovely black and blue knot on my right index toe. it doesn't hurt except when you put any kind of direct pressure to it. So it is definitely not broken just bruised.

My life has come to a grinding halt this week but I know it shall take speed again after Thursday. I am ready to get out of the house, make my own choices, and hang out with friends when ever I want to.

I am ready to break free of the shell that I have lived in for so many years. I love my family but i am ready to leave the nest. My parents have, i think, finally realized that I have grown up and they are finally ready for me to be on my own.

I am ready for college. I have friends already, even some of which I haven't met yet =]! they know who they are and I am so excited to finally meet them in person. I know it is going to be a change but i like change, especially when it is a good change.

Positive

So doing Little Women would not be possible without our fans, but of all our fans one sticks out the most. The love able, hilarious, and just phenomenal, Sara Turner.

She has rightfully earned the role of our number one fan. she has been to more of our rehearsals than anyone, and she is at every performance to help backstage and to cheer us on. She is always there to cheer you up when you feel like crap.

Sara We LOVE You! I am gonna miss you this next year.....alot! So make sure you always keep it positive as usual!

It Sucks to Be Me

Ok this is in honor of my favorite character in Little Women whose cast member I forgot to mention in last night's post. My Beloved Hannah Herndon.

Ok so I first met the amazing Hannah in the fall of 2008. We were both in FCFt's cast of Beauty and the Beast, she was a lonely egg seller and I LeFou. Then she took a break from FCFT shows for a while and branched out and played one of Cinderella's Step Sisters in Twilight's Into The Woods.

When I first got cast in Little Women I was like Hannah has to be Beth. And I was so thrilled when I was right! I have loved working with you again, Hannah. You are so much fun to be around. You are always cheerful and smiling. you Brighten my day!

Well now that I have said that I must now post about one other vital member of the Little Women family.........

Beyond My Wildest Dreams

OMG! So superstitions in theatre are true I swear because today's shows were awesome. This afternoon's dragged a little because the audience was dead, but tonight.....oh Tonight I am gonna have myself a real good time I feel a li-i-i-iiive ( Queen reference) Tonight was awesome, we came, we did, and ASTONISHED!

They audience was so captivated and intrigued by the whole thing. Hoots and hollers resounded through the theatre at curtain call. It was what I would count as our opening show! I mean the audience cried with us, cheered with us, etc. It was an experience I will never forget.

I don't think i have ever felt so proud of a show in my life cause all this week I had been saying to myself "are we really gonna pull this off?" Tonight all my doubts were dissolved and my nerves were jostled back into place!

To those who look at my blog regularly, Amy Hebel you are an amazing director and I am so glad, as I have said before, so glad that I got to be a part of this show. As I say to you after every show "We Did It!" I can't wait for the final performance when those words will take on a whole 'nother meaning: we successfully put on FCFT's first student directed play and it was a hit!!!!!!

To my two wives: Emily and Grace, I am the luckiest guy ever to get to get "married" to two of his best friends ever. Emily we have shared some bumps during this show, but we both know that we have each other's back when the going gets rough, and our spats usually only last the night. Grace I am so glad to have gotten the chance to do a show with you again, you are so fun and energetic for such a quiet person. I am glad I got to know you better.

Josh you are always a blast to work with I am so glad to be working with you on yet another show this summer. I had a blast in HSM and now I am having a blast in Little Women. Go Wildcats!

Mrs. Meloni and Laney, you are new to FCFT but you have quickly become family. I love you both to death. Laney you always have a way of putting smiles on our faces and that is what I will remember you most for. Mrs. Meloni you have been a joy to work with, I can now see where Laney gets her great sense of humor from. You are always keeping me laughing backstage even though we both could get chewed out. Thank you both for all the great moments of the show.

Trevor, I have seen you only once before this show, another phenomenal performance mind you ( I love Godspell now,) and yet you still do not cease to amaze me. Your voice is great and you have given me great advice during this show. You are a fun person to be around. Thanks for all the good times!

Brent well you and I have done (sorta) three shows together now and your gifts and talents still amaze me. You are so gifted and talented that you will go far. I am so glad to call you a friend. You are fun to be around (though sometimes less talking is wiser) JK! I really have enjoyed working with you again, and hope I will have the chance again real soon.

And finally Mrs. Tammy, you have been my director for three shows now and I wasn't sure what to expect when I found out that you were playing aunt March.....I was like "Is she good? I have never seen her act before." But you have surprised me in all of your diversity and creativity. You had a challenge that none of the rest of us honestly had. You had to play to completely contrasting characters which you did to a tee. You made us want to be annoyed with Aunt March, and you made us a giggle as Mrs. Kirk. You truly are an amazing person filled with more than one talent ( so I found out. ) Though I am leaving next week for college I hope that this will no be the last time my path crosses with FCFT. It has now become part of who I am.

I love this cast to death and am so proud of each and everyone of you. I just wanted to show my appreciation for each of you. Now lets do this up right tomorrow! Break a Leg and lets Astonish the world!

Another Openin' Another Show

So this weekend I have four performances of Little Women. And after last night i am hoping the shows go smoothly and that the audience will love this show.

I have had a blast this summer first High School Musical, and now Little Women. It has been a year of back to back shows starting last June with Crazy For You and going off to college next Saturday, who knows if it will stop since I am going for theatre.

But I digress, I have had a great summer doing shows. But Little Women holds a special place in my heart because it will first and foremost be my last show with FCFT for a while, and secondly I have enjoyed working with this great cast (most of which I have worked with before.) Our director, Amy Hebel, is one of my best friends and I am so glad to be involved with this show and to work with her again. Amy, if you ever see this, you will always be my "twin"

Today we open. So I just wanna wish every one a broken leg. And we shall Astonish the world.

The Show Must Go On

OK so this was final dress Parent preview night for Little Women............It is a good thing that bad dress rehearsals equal good performance......People! Tonight SUCKED!!!!!!! It SUCKED big purple hairy toes

The dropping of lines was the biggest flub made, and actually the songs sounded really good for the most part. Our audience of six people was kinda lifeless but we acted as if there was no audience so it would be a final dress.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a great success and we shall "Astonish the world"

At the End of the Day

Ugh today was a drag to say the least. I did nothing but chores all day, and what do i get as a reward? A night of dress rehearsal for Little Women.....oh but it isn't just final dress...oh no! of course not we have to have an audience. It is also Parent preview night. Hopefully i shan't take another attempt at taking my life tonight........

For those who have no earthly idea what I am referring to....last night (my first entrance mind you) I slipped and slid in to the flats which then decided that it was time for my life to end and they were going to help me along by crushing me. But I prevailed and lived to tell the tale. Because of some extremely quick thinking I managed to break my fall and then in one fluid motion stop the flats from bringing me to my demise.

Sadly though, my shoulder is killing me today, but the show must go on so I will get over my aches.

Ok back to the reason my day was a drag i got up at 10 I know not so bad but straight away I had to bake cookies for concessions for the show this weekend, and i ended up over baking some because in addition to the baking I also had my weekly housecleaning chores to do: the bathroom, the vaccuuuming, and mowing the yard.

On top of all that, this week i have been taking care of my Grandmother who has alzheimers and that is a pain in itself because she is not the goofy kind of alzheimers, she is a cantankerous old biddy who doesn't care what she says or who she says it too. But I love her despite her illness, but i will be honest it isn't the same love I used to have for her. She used to be my favorite grandma but now she is a pain in the neck.

So that is why today was a drag. I am ready for college to start so I can get out of the prison I call Home. I need to get some life back into my life!

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen

Ok so i got the wild idea to start up a new blog because my old one has been long forgoten about and I don't even remeber my pasword. through this blog I hope to journal my life from here on out so if you plan to keep up with the story you better be a faithful reader.........
